Trafford is the only borough where cases increased in the seven days ending March 29, the latest Public Health England (PHE) data shows.
Bolton now has the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, replacing Oldham.
Bolton recorded a rate of 105.7 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending March 29.
The lowest infection rate is in Stockport, where the rate is 65.1 cases per 100,000 people.
Across the region, there were 31 Covid-19 deaths recorded during the same seven day period.
This is two less than in the previous seven days.
The overall infection rate for Greater Manchester is now 86.9 cases per 100,000 people.
The region's figure is still higher than the national average, which stands at 49.6 cases per 100,000.
A total of 2,463 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on March 29.
The weekly total has decreased by 213 cases compared to the previous week - a fall of 8 per cent.
The infection rate is higher than the national average in all ten local authorities in Greater Manchester.
Salford
Salford saw a total of 224 cases in the week ending March 29. This is nine fewer than the previous week and a fall of four per cent.
In Salford, the most recent coronavirus infection rate is now 86.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Manchester
Manchester recorded 509 coronavirus cases - three fewer than in the previous seven days.
The latest infection rate in Manchester is 92.1 cases per 100,000 people and that is down one per cent week-on-week.
Wigan
There was a fall of 25 per cent in cases in Wigan with the infection rate falling to 77.6 cases per 100,000 population.
Wigan recorded 255 positive Covid-19 tests over the seven-day period, and that is 86 fewer than the previous week.
Tameside
In Tameside, the latest infection rate is 98.9 cases per 100,000 people. The number of cases has fallen by 15 per cent.
A total of 224 people tested positive for Covid in Tameside over the seven days ending on March 29, which is 40 fewer than the week before.
Oldham
There were 250 positive tests over the last week in Oldham. It is six fewer than in the previous week.
The week-on-week trend in Oldham is down by two per cent and the latest infection rate is 105.4 cases per 100,000 people.
Bury
Bury is an area where the trend is down. The latest infection rate here is 67.5 cases per 100,000 people.
There were 129 cases recorded in Bury, which is 36 fewer than the previous week - a fall of 22 per cent.
Rochdale
The trend is down in Rochdale, where there were 200 positive Covid-19 tests.
This is 48 fewer than the previous 7 days - a fall of 19 per cent compared to the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Rochdale is 89.9 cases per 100,000 people, which is higher than the national average.
Bolton
In Bolton, there were 304 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending March 29, which is 10 fewer than the previous 7 days.
Bolton has the highest infection rate in the region. The infection rate in Bolton is down slightly compared with the previous day and the week-on-week trend is down by three per cent.
Trafford
In Trafford, the number of cases is up by 49 per cent compared to the previous week - leaving the infection rate at 74.6 cases per 100,000 population.
