Latest Coronavirus figures for Northern Ireland broken down by council area

Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland have risen to 524.

With regards to new cases in NI, 12 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

The Department of Health report indicates the latest death was recorded in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district.

A total of 308 fatalities have been recorded in hospitals here, 184 in residential/care homes, 16 in the community and a further 16 not recorded, today's DoH report states.

An additional 201 samples were taken from National Testing Centres across the country.

At present there are six people in ICU in Northern Ireland with confirmed or suspected Covid-19.

77 patients remain in hospitals here with confirmed Covid-19, while a further 450 inpatients are being treated for suspected Coronavirus.

The latest 12 positive cases have been recorded in: Antrim and Newtownabbey (2), Ards and North Down (1), Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon (1), Belfast (6), Causeway Coast and Glens (1) and Lisburn and Castlereagh (1)

To date Northern Ireland has 4,728 reported cases of Coronavirus.
