Latest Coronavirus figures for Northern Ireland broken down by council area

Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland have risen to 534.

With regards to new cases, eight individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

Wednesday's Department of Health report indicates the latest deaths were recorded in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (3), Antrim and Newtownabbey (1), Lisburn and Castlereagh (1), Causeway Coast and Glens (1), Mid Ulster (1) and one unknown. 

A total of 313 fatalities have been recorded in hospitals here, 185 in residential/care homes, 21 in the community and a further 15 not recorded, today's DoH report states.

An additional 659 samples were taken from National Testing Centres across the country.

At present there are six people in ICU in Northern Ireland with confirmed or suspected Covid-19.

80 patients remain in hospitals here with confirmed Covid-19, while a further 439 inpatients are being treated for suspected Coronavirus.

The latest eight positive cases have been recorded in: Antrim and Newtownabbey (1), Ards and North Down (2), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (3), Belfast (1), Mid Ulster (1).

To date Northern Ireland has reported 4,740 cases of coronavirus.
