Latest Coronavirus figures for Northern Ireland broken down by council area

Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland have risen to 526.

With regards to new cases in NI, four individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

Tuesday's Department of Health report indicates the latest deaths were recorded in the Ards and North Down and Mid and East Antrim. 

A total of 311 fatalities have been recorded in hospitals here, 184 in residential/care homes, 16 in the community and a further 15 not recorded, today's DoH report states.

An additional 659 samples were taken from National Testing Centres across the country.

At present there are six people in ICU in Northern Ireland with confirmed or suspected Covid-19.

76 patients remain in hospitals here with confirmed Covid-19, while a further 443 inpatients are being treated for suspected Coronavirus.

The latest four positive cases have been recorded in: Ards and North Down (2), Belfast (1) and Lisburn and Castlereagh (1).

To date Northern Ireland has 4,732 reported cases of Coronavirus.
