Chelsea are set for a big summer on the transfer front as more big signings are expected to make their way to Stamford Bridge.
Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner are set to arrive in London very soon as they complete their respective moves to the Blues, and the spending isn’t expected to end there.
With Frank Lampard’s side looking good bets to secure Champions League football again next season, he’ll be eager to strengthen his side over the next few months.
Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip from Stamford Bridge.
Competition for Gomes
Chelsea could be facing competition from across Europe for the signature of Angel Gomes.
The 19-year-old is set to leave Manchester United after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed the club had been unable reach an agreement with the young midfielder.
The Blues have been immediately linked with signing the teenager but, according to the Independent, they’ll be facing some competition.

They report that Gomes has interest from all of the major leagues, with Hamburg, Valencia and Benfica in particular thought to be leading the chase.
Bakayoko price set
Chelsea will sell Tiemoue Bakayoko if they can get an offer around the £18m mark this summer.
The Frenchman has spent the season on loan at Monaco, having been shipped off to AC Milan the previous campaign after a poor first year at Stamford Bridge.
With Frank Lampard looking to free up funds as he plans an approach for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, Bakayoko looks likely to be one of those making way.

And, according to the Express, an £18m price tag has been slapped on the player, with Milan keen on landing him once again.
Van Ginkel expecting loan
Marco van Ginkel expects to be loaned out by Chelsea next season, despite signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

The Dutchman was surprisingly handed a new 12-month contract by the Blues, despite having been out since undergoing anterior cruciate ligament surgery in July 2018.
Speaking to Ziggo Sport, Van Ginkel said: “Joining Chelsea is a difficult story, I think. It is of course a top club.
"To hook [my hopes] on that [playing for the first team] now seems a bit premature. So I will be loaned out.”
