Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Said Benrahma targeted, West Ham join Bakayoko hunt

Hopes are still high that we see Chelsea back in action next month with a planned return for the Premier League.

Yet plans to resume this season has not stopped the Blues from looking to next season.

There are plenty of reports that the Blues are in the midst of plotting their summer transfer business in what could be a big transfer window for the club.

With that in mind, here are the latest rumours from Stamford Bridge.

Said Benrahma targeted

Chelsea have joined the hunt for Brentford ace Said Benrahma as they seek replacements for Willian, La Gazzette du Fennec report.

Willian, along with Pedro, looks set to leave when his contract expires in West London and the Blues are said to be looking close to home for a replacement.

Benrahma is widely regarded to be one of the best players outside of the Premier League and the Algeria international has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs.

He has a hefty asking price, reported to be around £31m, but the economic situation due to the coronavirus crisis could see that figure reduced.

Fenerbache express Batshuayi interest

Michy Batshuayi's time in the Premier League could be coming to a close after his agent contacted Fenerbache regarding a transfer, Turkish outlet Takvim via Sport Witness reports.

Batshuayi is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea looking to sign a new forward this summer, and are prepared to sell for a cut-price fee.

Batshuayi’s agent Meïssa N’diaye has reportedly contacted Fenerbache to discuss a potential move, which could appeal to the Turkish side in their own striker hunt.

Verdat Muriqi has been heavily linked with an exit from the club amid interest from the likes of Tottenham and West Brom ahead of the summer window.

West Ham join Bakayoko hunt

West Ham are the latest club to express an interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko when the transfer window opens, French outlet Le 10 Sport states.

The France international has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge but his performances on loan with Monaco have attracted a wealth of interest.

Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan are both reported to have expressed an interest in the midfielder but they now face a fresh rival in the market.

West Ham are now mentioned as being keen on landing the 26-year-old, although they would certainly have to secure their Premier League status to appeal to the player.
