Chelsea look set for a big summer with the transfer window now officially open for business.

Having secured their place in the Champions League for next season, Frank Lampard will be setting his sights on how to strengthen the Blues for his second campaign in charge.

Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have already completed their moves, and if the reports are anything to go by, they certainly won’t be the last new additions.

Werner 'speaks' to Havertz

Timo Werner has been training at Cobham for the first time, and Chelsea fans will be interested to see what the striker has been doing off the pitch.

Kai Havertz could join him at Stamford Bridge soon, and the two Germans have been speaking, Football London understands.

Havertz may follow in Werner’s footsteps in swapping the Bundesliga for the Premier League with Chelsea.

His current contract expires in June 2022 and he is keen to complete a move to the Blues.

Chelsea in talks over Oblak deal

Marina Granovskaia has reportedly held talks with Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak about the possibility of a move to Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Star, Oblak is at the top of Frank Lampard’s list to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer.

Oblak is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in world football and would be seen as a major coup for the Blues this summer.

Willian in advanced talks with Arsenal

Arsenal are in advanced talks with Kia Joorabchian to sign Willian as a free agent from Chelsea.

That is according to journalist Nicolo Schira, who claims the Brazlian could be about to swap blue for red in the capital.

The 31-year-old’s current deal is set to expire this summer, and the player has already turned down a two-year extension with Frank Lampard’s side.
