Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Milinkovic-Savic boost, Bakayoko keen on Serie A, Kante update

The Premier League continues to plan for a potential return to continue the 2019/20 season and that means we could yet see Chelsea back in action next month.

It's been almost two months since the Blues were last in action and there's plenty of intrigue around how Frank Lampard's side will finish the season.

While football remains on pause, the transfer rumours continue to float around and Chelsea are heavily touted for a number of acquisitions in the next transfer window.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest concerning the Blues.

Chief hints at summer exit for Blues target

Lazio chief Igli Tare says 'it shouldn't be a problem' if Chelsea target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic wants to leave in the next transfer window.

The French international has been tipped to join Chelsea or Manchester United, and it seems Lazio won't stand in the midfielder's way.

Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, Tare said: "The player’s desire is crucial. Generally speaking, if a player thinks that their time is up and wants to go somewhere else, it shouldn’t be a problem.

"Eras come to an end. Just look what happened to Napoli this season. The fact he stayed in Rome for five years is because he has strong links with the city and club.

"When there was some temptation, a bit on our part, a bit on his, we never went all the way. However, things must be assessed at the end of the season."

Real Madrid likely to look elsewhere

Real Madrid are said to be in the market for competition for midfielder Casemiro.

According to Marca, Los Blancos are big fans for Chelsea midfielder NGolo Kante, but a move for the France superstar would be 'more complicated' given he is under contract until 2023.

Zidane is said to have 'always liked' Kante, but he is now expected to look elsewhere with Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga the prime target.

Bakayoko keen on Serie A move

Tiemoue Bakayoko is keen on a return to AC Milan, according to Calciomercato.

The 25-year-old spent this year on loan to Monaco after completing a loan spell with Milan.

Monaco, the team Chelsea signed him from for around £40m, have the option to buy Bakayoko for £38m.

But according to Goal, the French club will not take up that option.

With two years still remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, Bakayoko is said to be keen on returning to Milan on a full-time basis.

PSG are also being tipped to make a move, but reports suggest they don't want to pay much more than £26m.
