Chelsea are set for a challenging end to the season as they look to secure a top-four finish and Champions League football for next season, with the fight extremely close.
Defeat to Manchester United on Monday evening has left the battle to qualify for Europe's elite competition wide open and the Blues have lacked consistency in recent months.
Early moves in the transfer market have been made, with a deal in place to bring Hakim Ziyech to West London from Ajax, and further business is expected.
As such, there is plenty of rumours floating around and we have gathered some of the latest below.
Juan Musso targeted
Chelsea's hunt for a new first-choice goalkeeper has seen them turn their attention towards Udinese stopper Juan Musso, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness.
The Argentina international is a key player for the Italian side, who are standing firm on their demands as they seek a fee of €30m if he is allowed to leave.
Chelsea are in the hunt for a new stopper following Kepa Arrizabalaga's struggles this season, with speculation suggesting Frank Lampard will sanction the sale of the former Athletic Bilbao stopper.
As a result, the reports regarding Musso suggest that an offer to the Serie A side could be lodged in the coming weeks.
Liverpool tipped to win Sancho chase
Liverpool have been tipped to win the hunt for Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho by Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The 19-year-old put in a solid performance during the German side's 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday, showing his credentials once again.
Sancho has been heavily linked with a return to English football, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all said to be extremely keen on his signature.
A deal for the teenager would not be cheap though and would likely eclipse the £100m mark.
Giroud on Chelsea situation
Olivier Giroud has insisted he will give his all to Chelsea for the remainder of the season after missing out on an exit from Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.
The World Cup winner was keen to leave the club in the mid-season window in search of regular first-team action ahead of the European Championships.
However, the 33-year-old former Arsenal striker is focused on the challenges ahead: "I’m a Chelsea player so now I need to move on and look forward. I want to give everything for the team and it’s a personal target for me to play as much as I can to play the Euros with my country.
"Right now, I’m 100 percent focused on Chelsea targets and I want to keep fighting to come back on to the team sheet and the scoresheet Every single game is a big opportunity for me to show my desire to do that."
