Chelsea are on the hunt for new additions in the transfer market ahead of Frank Lampard's second season in charge of Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have already secured the additions of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, with Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz next in line for a move.
Chelsea's transfer business will not stop there though and a host of other names have been linked with a move to West London.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest reports regarding the Blues.
Gimenez becomes number one target
Chelsea have made Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez their 'number one' defensive target, Football Insider states.
The Blues will switch their attention towards defensive improvements after a deal for Havertz is tied up and central defence is a priority.
Lampard is keen on West Ham's Declan Rice but the Hammers are demanding £80m for the services of the versatile England international.
As a result, it's stated Chelsea are focusing their attention on Gimenez and hope to land his services for £60million - significantly less than his £110million release clause.
Dunk deal possible
Duncan Castles has claimed that Brighton would be willing to listen to any offers from Chelsea for Lewis Dunk.
The Blues have been linked to the defender after some good form for the Seagulls in the Premier League.
Speaking on his Transfer Window podcast, Castles says a deal could happen.
He said: “Well, the information I have is that an enquiry has gone into Lewis Dunk’s representatives at Brighton.
“Dunk, 28-years-old, would like to play in the European Championship for England. I think if a club of Chelsea’s stature were to make a formal offer for the player, Brighton would listen to that.”
Milan waiting on Bakayoko swoop
Tiemoue Bakayoko will have to wait if he is to conclude a move to AC Milan this summer.
Corrierre dello Sport via Sport Witness states the Serie A giants are waiting to see whether the Blues lower their €42million asking price for the midfielder.
However, the 25-year-old is not a priority and a potential move will only take place towards the end of the transfer window.
Another potential hurdle is that Bakayoko will have to reduce his current wage from his current €6million packet.
