Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Jorginho is Juventus' top target, Inter eye discount Moses deal

It has now been over two months since Chelsea last played a match but, with the Bundesliga having returned, there are encouraging signs that the Premier League could follow suit.

Discussions surrounding Project Restart are set to continue next week, with the aim of playing the remaining 92 Premier League matches behind closed doors from mid-June.

That means there will at least a few more weeks without football for the Blues but it hasn't quite brought an end to the discussions, as transfer rumours continue to circulate.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest stories surrounding Chelsea.

Inter eye permanent Moses deal

Italian club Inter Milan are interested in signing Chelsea winger Victor Moses on a permanent deal, according to Corriere dello Sport, via Sempre Inter.

Moses has been on loan at the Italian giants since January after his loan spell at Turkish side Fenerbahce was cut short.

The Italian publication is reporting that the Milan-based club can afford to buy either Moses, or another on-loan star Cristiano Biraghi in the upcoming transfer window.

A €12m release clause was included in the loan deal for Inter to sign the former Nigeria international permanently, but now Antonio Conte’s side are said to be asking for a discounted fee.

Jorginho a 'top target' for Juventus

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is the “first-choice” transfer target for Juventus, according to Italian outlet Sport Mediaset.

Former Blues manager Maurizio Sarri is in charge of the Turin-based club and is still believed to be an avid fan of the Italian midfielder.

Juve are interested in a few midfielders, but Jorginho stands out above the rest for the ex- Chelsea boss.

However, a deal for the 28-year-old is complicated and it could depend on what Jorginho wishes to do.

Van Gaal praises incoming Chelsea signing

Former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal believes Chelsea are about to receive a “special” player next season when Hakim Ziyech teams up with his new side.

Earlier in the year, the Blues announced the signing of the Ajax playmaker and now van Gaal has heaped praise on the Morocco international.

“He has developed tremendously at Ajax. Not so much in creativity, but as a team player,” the Dutchman said to NOS, via the Metro.

“The public have realised that he works very hard for a creative player. And then he also scores goals and gives assists. Then you are a special player.”
