Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Jorginho interest confirmed, midfielder set for £13.5m exit

The summer transfer window is set to see much less spent in terms of transfer fees, but some clubs are still preparing for the next campaign.

Chelsea are one of those clubs, as Frank Lampard looks to bolster his squad for his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

With a couple of key players like Willian and Pedro – who are both out of contract – set to leave the club once the season ends, Lampard may have to look elsewhere to replace the experienced duo.

Chelsea Q&A with Oliver Harbord

With that being said, here are the best Chelsea transfer rumours from today.

PSG look to snap up Willian on a free

Willian looks set to leave Chelsea this summer when his contract expires, with French giants Paris Saint-Germain the latest club to show interest.

According to reports in Le 10 Sport, the Parsians’ sporting director Leonardo believes his fellow Brazilian could strengthen the French champions without breaking the bank.

Willian, who will be 32 by the start of next season, has also been offered to Real Madrid according to the report but manager Zinedine Zidane has declined to sign the player based on his age.

The Blues star, who joined the club in 2013 and has as yet failed to agree a new contract, has also been linked with north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham.

Two ‘top’ European clubs make contact over Jorginho

Rumours persist over the future of midfielder Jorginho with the player’s agent revealing that the player is very much in demand.

The Brazilian-born Italian International joined the club from Napoli in 2018, following manager Maurizio Sarri to west London after he was appointed by the Blues.

The 28-year-old has been linked with another potential reunion with his old boss at Juventus, but his agent Joao Santos claims other clubs are also keen.

"Jorginho still has three years left on his contract and is doing well at Chelsea, but if a big enough offer comes in then a deal could go through.” Santos told Italian broadcaster Radio Musica Television ( via Goal ).

"In this sense, two top European clubs, not Italian ones, contacted me."

Chelsea reach agreement over midfielder departure

Chelsea are set to part ways with Mario Pasalic after agreeing a deal with Atlanta, where he has been on loan for the last two seasons.

The Croatian midfielder joined the club from Hajduk Split in 2014 for £3million but never made a first team appearance.

After a series of loans, the player made the temporary switch to the Serie A side, helping them qualify for the Champions League in 2019.

Despite signing a new deal to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge last summer, a second loan followed and the Italian have opted to activate a £13.5million purchase option, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport ( via SportWitness ).
