Chelsea know that they have to considerably improve this summer ahead of next season after finishing fourth in the Premier League.
The Blues have already attempted to address certain areas of their squad by signing the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner but know more must be done.
Kai Havertz will potentially be the next player signed by Frank Lampard and his team but Chelsea have been linked with far more than just the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.
Here is the latest gossip round-up on the Blues.
Havertz price issue
Kai Havertz is the name that Chelsea fans want at the moment but the deal is taking it's sweet time to get over the line.
And a price issue is still at the heart of the problem as Chelsea try to negotiate a transfer fee with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Germans want £90 million for the playmaker but the Blues are reportedly still unwilling to match that demand at this stage, per Sky Sports.
Shock Kepa replacement
Chelsea have been linked with a move for former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster.
Foster suffered relegation with Watford this past season and now the Blues are looking to offer the 37-year-old a Premier League lifeline.
Kepa Arrizabalaga could be sold this summer and The Sun state that Foster could even be classed as a replacement for the Spaniard.

Sancho transfer statement
Borussia Dortmund have made a Jadon Sancho transfer admission after announcing losses of around £45 million.
The financial setback is due to the coronavirus pandemic which has impacted football across the globe.
Sancho has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, while Chelsea have also been heavily involved in the rumours surrounding the forward's future.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has since explained the situation with Sancho amid the financial blow.
"We have had ten very, very good years at Borussia Dortmund," he said, per The Express.
"We made three-digit million profits and wrote deep black numbers. Then corona came and everything changed a little.
"We have succeeded in generating such a high level of liquidity that we can withstand this pandemic for a very long time."
Asked directly about whether the club needs to sell Sancho, Watzke responded: “We weren’t in a situation where we had to sell at any cost.”
