Chelsea enjoyed a successful first season under the guidance of Frank Lampard and are making waves to build upon that next season.
The Blues have already moved to land Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, while they continue to push to snatch Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
A number of other deals are on the cards though as Lampard looks to rejuvenate his side and plenty of names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest rumours surrounding the Blues.
Kai Havertz alternative
Chelsea have identified Lille attacker Jonathan Ikone as an alternative for Kai Havertz, should a deal collapse.
The Blues are set to sign the Germany international from Bayer Leverkusen but a deal is being held up by the German side's involvement in the Europa League.
While Chelsea remain confident of a deal, Le 10 Sport suggests they have a back-up plan if, for whatever reason, a move for Havertz collapses.
The reports suggest that Ikone is that back-up, with the forward's role at Lille uncertain ahead of the planned signings of Jonathan David and Alfredo Morelos.
Bakayoko agrees terms with Milan
Chelsea outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko has agreed on personal terms with AC Milan ahead of a potential move to the San Siro.
Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness state the France international, who is looking for a new club following the end of his loan stint with Monaco, remains a target for the Serie A giants.
Bakayoko is said to be desperate to clinch a move to Milan, so much so that he has agreed to drop his current wages from €6m-a-year to €3m-a-year.

However, Milan are yet to agree a fee with Chelsea for the player's services and the Blues are standing firm on their demands.
Sankoh seals move after Chelsea snub
Mohamed Sankoh has completed a move to join newly-promoted Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart after Chelsea turned down the chance to sign him.
After excelling at U18 level with Stoke City, Sankoh became widely regarded as one of the finest young players in the Championship.
The 16-year-old was free to leave the Potters as he had not penned a professional deal and a host of clubs were linked with a move.
Chelsea took the teenager under trial at Cobham but ultimately decided not to make a move and the player's move to Stuttgart has now been confirmed.
