Chelsea will continue to look to strengthen in the transfer market this summer after losing the FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal.
The Blues' run to the final showed that Chelsea still have the potential to compete for silverware but their disappointing 2-1 defeat will only strengthen reports that Frank Lampard is planning to invest heavily in his squad this summer.
Here are the latest Blues transfer rumours.
First Havertz bid submitted
Transfer expert Ian McGarry has claimed Chelsea have submitted their first official bid for Kai Havertz.
Petr Cech is said to have flown out to meet Bayer Leverkusen officials in order to negotiate the potential deal.
"Chelsea's pursuit of German international Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen has progressed a little bit," McGarry told the Transfer Window podcast. "It is our understanding that Chelsea met with Bayer Leverkusen officials this week. Petr Cech had visited Leverkusen to speak to officials there and the player about a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

"That has resulted in an opening bid of 50m euros plus 10m euros in add-ons.
"Leverkusen continue to value the player at 90m euros. That is something Chelsea feel is not a fair price for the 21-year-old.
"However, they are obviously keen to get the player and are willing to pay."
German defender lined up
German outlet Kicker report (via Sportsmole ) that Chelsea are weighing up a move for Matthias Ginter.
The German international played a key role at centre-back for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, making 31 Bundesliga appearances.
Frank Lampard is said to be keen to add to his defence this summer and has identified Ginter as a potential option due to the fact he has under a year left on his contract.

Yet Monchengladbach are still said to expect a hefty fee for the 26-year-old, who is also wanted by Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
Bakayoko latest
Il Giornale claims that AC Milan are plotting a bid for Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer.
The report says that the Chelsea midfielder is keen on a return to the San Siro having spent last season on loan at Milan.
He does not appear to have a Chelsea future, having spent this season on loan back at Monaco.
Whilst Milan are keen for the move to happen, both Chelsea and the player's representatives need to be convinced to lower their price should any deal happen.
