Chelsea are within touching distance of securing another season with Champions League involvement as the Premier League campaigns edges towards completion.
Frank Lampard has already strengthened his ranks by landing Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig but more deals are on the cards.
Securing Champions League football would provide another feather in Chelsea's cap in their attempts to lure fresh faces to Stamford Bridge and a number of names are already being touted for a move.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding the Blues.
Fresh Kai Havertz boost
Chelsea have received another boost in the push to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz as he has decided to leave the club, German outlet Kicker states.
The Blues are willing to sign the Germany international and the report also states they have the necessary financial muscle to land his services.
Havertz has an agreement to leave Leverkusen this summer if the Bundesliga side's demands are met and Chelsea will be in a commanding position if they secure a top-four finish.
The additions of Ziyech and Werner this summer are said to have 'interesting sporting perspective' for Havertz.
Jan Oblak interest confirmed
Atletico Madrid assistant coach German Burgos, who is leaving the club this summer, has openly discussed Chelsea's interest in signing goalkeeper Jan Oblak, as reported by football.London
Burgos was asked which of the Atleti players he would take with him if given the chance, and after refusing to pick out any one star, openly talked about Chelsea's interest in Oblak without being questioned on it.
"‘If I only quote one who I would take with me from Atletico de Madrid, it would be bad, I have to name them all. Look, the Russian (Roman Abramovich) wants to take Oblak."
Sevilla target Marcos Alonso
La Liga outfit Sevilla are interested in signing Marcos Alonso from Chelsea as Frank Lampard looks to shuffle his defence this summer, Estadio Deportivo states.
Sevilla will be able to offer Alonso Champions League football next season and, with the Blues eyeing a left-back, his departure could be welcomed.
Manager Julen Lopetegui knows Alonso well after handing the 29-year-old his international debut two years ago and is reportedly eyeing a reunion.
However, it's added the club are concerned about the price Chelsea would demand for his services and the wages that would be required to secure a deal.
