Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Christian Eriksen offer rejected, Palace want another Blues man

There is under a month left in the transfer window.

Whilst Chelsea have mainly completed their incoming, there is still plenty of speculation over the state of Frank Lampard's squad.

The Blues look set to sell some players in order to raise some funds following their big spending summer.

With that in mind, here is the latest Chelsea transfer news.

Chelsea reach Edouard Mendy transfer agreement

Eriksen rejected

The Guardian report that Chelsea have rejected the chance to sign Christian Eriksen.

Inter Milan are keen to sign N'Golo Kante this summer but do not have the funds to make an acceptable offer outright.

Instead, they initially offered a swap deal for Marcelo Brozovic.

When this was knocked back by the Blues, they offered former Spurs star Eriksen in the deal, only to once again be rejected.

Palace enter Bakayoko race

Corriere dello Sport report that Crystal Palace have entered the race to sign Tiemou Bakayoko.

AC Milan are keen on the midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Monaco.

Chelsea are keen to recoup as much money as possible for the 26-year-old.

Whilst others may look to take Bakayoko on loan, Palace can only sign the player permanently due to having already signed Michy Batshuayi on loan from Stamford Bridge.

Inter Milan keen on Alonso

Another Chelsea player being chased by Inter Milan is Marcos Alonso.

Sky Italia report that Inter are at the front of the queue for the wing-back, who has dropped down the pecking order after Ben Chilwell's transfer to Stamford Bridge.

Some of Alonso's best football at Chelsea came under Inter boss Antonio Conte.
