Chelsea are within touching distance of securing another season with Champions League involvement as the Premier League campaigns edges towards completion.
Frank Lampard has already strengthened his ranks by landing Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig but more deals are on the cards.
Securing Champions League football would provide another feather in Chelsea's cap in their attempts to lure fresh faces to Stamford Bridge and a number of names are already being touted for a move.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding the Blues.
Conte's Inter push for Kante
Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte will have to convince the club's board to sanction the necessary wages required to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea, reports in Italy via Sempre Inter state.
The France World Cup winner has emerged as a prime target for Conte, who is keen on a reunion having worked with Kante during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Furthermore, it's suggested that after four years with Chelsea, former Leicester City man Kante considers his time in West London to be coming to a close.
However, Conte faces a tough challenge persuading the Inter board to match the reported €8million-a-year salary that Kante pockets with the Blues.
Kai Havertz delay
Chelsea may have to wait until the end of August to secure a deal for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, Bild via the Daily Star reports.
The Bundesliga side accept that the Germany international will leave the club this summer but have placed a mammoth £89.3million asking price upon his head.
Frank Lampard may also have to wait to lure the highly-rated star to the Premier League as well, as it's stated Leverkusen want to retain his services for another six-and-a-half weeks.
The reason is because they are still competing in the Europa League and do not want to sanction his exit until after their involvement in the competition ends.
Antonio Rudiger future in doubt
Antonio Rudiger has found his future at Chelsea in doubt as the club are yet to offer him a new deal, the Daily Mail reports.
Chelsea are understood to be eyeing further additions in the summer transfer market which could lead to a defensive restructure and there is little movement in regards to a new contract for Rudiger.
Rudiger still has two years remaining on his deal but, despite it stated earlier this season that talks over a renewal would be forthcoming, there has been no discussions.
The 27-year-old's campaign has been hampered by injury this season but he has still made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Blues.
