Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Bellingham interest over, Coutinho deadline, Henderson's stance

Frank Lampard has already made some bold moves as Chelsea manager in 2020.

The news that Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have agreed to join the club has been met with considerable excitement among Chelsea supporters, and the talk is the club is not finished yet as they attempt to return to the top of the Premier League.

With that said here are the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.

Jude Bellingham pursuit a two-horse race

Chelsea have ended their interest in Jude Bellingham, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Bellingham, 16, has attracted interest from across Europe following his performances for Birmingham, and the midfielder now fully expects to leave the club this summer, according to the report.

It has, however, become a two-horse race for Bellingham, with Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund the only teams still chasing the player, who it’s believed will cost £30milion.

Chelsea considering Coutinho deal

Chelsea could be set to complete a deal for Barcelona’s Coutinho after the club set a deadline for his departure.

Barca signed the former Liverpool ace in January 2018 for an initial fee of £105million, but he has struggled to establish himself at the Nou Camp. He is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but it is not believed the club will make the deal permanent, putting him back on the open market.

The club have now placed a deadline on moving the player, with Sport claiming Barcelona want to balance the books by June 30.

In order to do that they have reportedly dropped the player’s asking price to £63.2m although his £240,000-a-week wages could prove problematic.

Dean Henderson's contract stance

Dean Henderson will only sign a new deal at Manchester United if he is promised the number one shirt, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Henderson, 23, has been in sensational form on-loan at Sheffield United this season and it has seen calls for him to return to Old Trafford. With his time at Bramall Lane set to end, it leaves Man Utd with a significant decision to make.

Chelsea are said to be one interested party, and they may stand a chance of signing the England youth international if Man Utd refuse to sanction his demands, which include being named number one goalkeeper at Old Trafford.
