Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Andre Onana boost, Dean Henderson bid, Willian latest

Chelsea have already concluded deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, but continue to be linked with moves for the likes of Kai Havertz, Said Benrahma and Jan Oblak ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Qualification for Champions League significantly improves the chances of club director Marina Granovskaia concluding deals for their top targets, but there may be price issues to worry about.

In the last 24 hours alone, Chelsea have been told to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and could extend the contract of Willian by another few years.

With that in mind, here are the latest Chelsea transfer rumours doing the rounds.

Frank Lampard on impact of Champions League on transfers

Onana boost

Chelsea are in pole position to sign Andre Onana after Bayer Leverkusen pulled out of the race to sign the Ajax star.

According to Kicker, via the Metro, the Bundesliga side have pulled out of this summer’s race to land the Cameroon international after having a €20million (£18m) bid rejected by Ajax.

Recent reports suggested that Ajax would only listen to offers in excess of €30million (£27m) for Onana.

Willian offers

Willian has been approached by two Premier League clubs who have put ‘concrete offers’ on the table.

The Brazil international’s time at Stamford Bridge is due to end this summer when his deal expires in the coming weeks.

Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with the 31-year-old recently, and Kia Joorabchian, Willian’s agent, has now claimed his client has two offers on the table from Premier League clubs.

He told talkSPORT: “I don’t think he’s done a U-turn or any kind of turn. He’s always been very much the same mode.

“We had two very big offers – one from MLS which required him to move on July 1 – but he’s always been in the same mode, saying,

‘I want to finish the season at Chelsea and the day after the season has finished I will make my decision’. “He has two concrete offers from Premier League clubs on the table, he has an MLS offer on the table which is very big, and he’s got two other offers in Europe.

“So Willian is in a very good position and he is going to make his decision after the last game of the season.”

Blues ‘prepare’ Henderson bid

Chelsea are prepared to offer Manchester United £55million for Dean Henderson this summer, according to reports.

The Mirror suggests Frank Lampard’s side will make a move for the goalkeeper if he fails to get the guarantees he is seeking about his future at Old Trafford.

The Blues are looking to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga and Henderson is one of the keepers that they are tracking.
