Chelsea have been by far the biggest spenders in the Premier League so far this summer, with a wealth of new faces being drafted into the club.
The Blues have landed the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz, with Frank Lampard rejuvenating his squad ahead of his second season at the helm.
Work in the transfer market is far from finished though as Chelsea are pushing ahead for more recruits before the transfer deadline next month.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding Lampard 's side.
Agent confirms Mendy deal
The agent of Edouard Mendy has stated a deal has been agreed to take the goalkeeper from Stade Rennes to Chelsea, with a fee worth around £20m.
Lampard is pushing to sign a new goalkeeper to compete with Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has struggled to impress in recent seasons, and is now set to get his man.
"The two parties have come to an agreement. All that’s left is the formalisation. It could even be done tomorrow [Friday], if all goes well," Dieng told Senegalese newspaper Stades.
"Afterwards, the player himself will come to finalise everything, including having his medical examination."
Declan Rice bid prepared
Chelsea are poised to make a bid to sign West Ham's Declan Rice before the end of the transfer window, Simon Phillips has stated.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer, with Lampard a big fan and driving for an agreement.
Rice, who previously spent time in Chelsea's academy and is close friends with Mason Mount, is reportedly open to a move across London.
However, West Ham have always maintained he isn’t for sale, and have demanded £73m for him.
Zappacosta set for exit
Davide Zappacosta is set to seal an exit from Chelsea to join Serie A side Genoa on loan for the duration of the season, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
The Italy international featured just nine times in the Premier League during Frank Lampard's maiden season in charge and is surplus to requirements.
Contracted with the Blues until 2022, Zappacosta has previously spent time on loan in Italy with Roma and a move to Genoa provides him with a fresh opportunity.
He could become teammates with Tottenham full-back Danny Rose, who is also closing in on a move to join the Serie A side.
