Chelsea's new summer signings are really starting to perform under Frank Lampard, as demonstrated on Saturday in the 3-0 win at Burnley.
The Blues made easy work of the Clarets, as Hakim Ziyech scored one and also set up fellow new signing Timo Werner, with Kurt Zouma heading in the other.
It comes after a midweek win over Krasnodar where Werner and Ziyech also scored.
With the new signings proving to be a success, Lampard could be temped to dive back in the transfer market, when it opens again in less than two months time.
Here are the latest Chelsea-related transfer rumours.
Blues 'opposed' Pedro sale in January
Pedro's new club, AS Roma, wanted to sign the ex-Chelsea winger in the January transfer window, but the Blues were "opposed" to the sale.
That's according to Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness ), who are reporting that Roma manager Paulo Fonseca wanted to sign the Spaniard in the mid-season window, but Lampard's side would not let him go.
That of course means that Chelsea may have missed out on some sort of fee for the 33-year-old, but did get to keep him until the end of the 2019/20 season.
Pedro has started life in the Italian capital with two goals and two assists in all competitions for the Serie A giants.
Chelsea failed with big-money bid for Rugani
Chelsea, along with London rivals Arsenal, both failed with a €30m bid for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani in the summer, according to the player's agent.
Speaking to TMW Radio (via the the Mirror ), Davide Torchia - who is Rugani 's agent - revealed that a host of clubs failed with bids for the Italian centre-back.
Torchia said: "At the time, Arsenal, Napoli, Chelsea, Zenit and Lyon arrived at around €30m (£27m) and (they) were never taken into consideration.
"For those prices, Juve did not sell him, and I do not dispute whether they did right or wrong."
Blues join race for Reading winger
Chelsea have joined the race for the highly-rated Reading starlet Michael Olise, according to TEAMtalk.
The 18-year-old has been in splendid form for the Royals in the Championship so far this season and has attracted interest from a host of top clubs.
Premier League sides - Arsenal, Leeds United and Wolves were already tracking Olise, but now Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea have all joined the battle for his services, the report claims.
As well as the English sides, European clubs - Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, AS Monaco and Napoli are also keen on the teenage sensation.
