Latest Championship transfer rumours: Leeds target Liverpool youngster, Forest eye striker

The finish line at the end of another long, action-packed, unforgettable Championship campaign is creeping into view.

Apart from for Huddersfield Town and West Bromwich Albion, who played on Friday evening, just two more games remain for 22 of the Championship's 24 clubs.

After almost 12 months of drama and excitement, promotions and relegations are yet to be decided, meaning an eventful few days could be in store.

Even though managers will be far more focussed on matters on the pitch right now, transfer gossip and speculation is never too far away from the headlines.

With that in mind, here is a round-up of the day's very latest Championship transfer rumours.

Leeds chase Liverpool youngster

Yasser Larouci is set to leave Liverpool this summer, with Leeds United and Brentford among the clubs interested in signing the young full-back.

The 19-year-old made his Reds debut back in January but will leave Anfield this summer in search for regular first-team football.

Goal report Liverpool have already held preliminary discussions with a host of clubs, with Leeds and Brentford currently at the head of the queue to sign Larouci.

With only a year left on his contract, the young defender is not expected to command an excessive fee.

Blades target Foderingham deal

Sheffield United are close to agreeing a contract for ex-Fulham goalkeeper free agent Wes Foderingham.

The 29-year-old has been without a club since leaving Rangers earlier this season but could move to Bramall Lane, report the Daily Mail.

Foderingham is expected to provide cover for their number one goalkeeper, which the Blades are still hopeful will be Dean Henderson, if a third season-long loan from Manchester United can be agreed.

Forest target striker

Nottingham Forest are reportedly in pursuit of German striker Simon Terodde.

Rivals Derby County were linked with a £1.5m move for Terodde in 2016 when he was at VFL Bochum, but he ended up at Stuttgart.

The forward is expected to leave Koln this summer after limited time on the pitch, but has no shortage of offers despite his £2m-a-year contract, report BILD, which report forest as one of the interested parties.

Fulham and Blackburn Rovers are also said to be hopeful of luring him to England given his impressive scoring record for Koln in the 2.Bundesliga.
