Latest Championship rumours: Crystal Palace eyeing Eberechi Eze, West Brom want Ivan Toney

The Championship is now just over a week away from returning to our television screens for the first time since March.

Since then, the transfer rumours have been a major source of sports news, with teams still aiming to improve their squad for next season.

However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, clubs’ finances may be heavily impacted and this could be one of the quietest windows in terms of money spent, but teams are still aiming to find any bargains from across Europe.

With that in mind, here are the latest Championship transfer rumours from today.

Palace want Eze

Queens Park Rangers striker Eberechi Eze is thought to be on Crystal Palace's wishlist this summer.

According to Sky Sports, Eze is thought to be a key target for Palace, but he is expected to be in demand in the upcoming window.

The report goes on to claim that Eze is valued at about £20million and has scored 12 goals and claimed eight assists this season.

West Brom want Toney

West Brom are eyeing a summer move for in-demand Peterborough striker Ivan Toney.

A West Brom source has told Football Insider the club are plotting a move for Toney regardless of whether they get promoted.

Toney scored 24 times in all competitions for Peterborough this season, and has been linked with a host of clubs ahead of the window opening.

Cardiff want Gnanduillet

Cardiff City are believed to be interested in signing striker Armand Gnanduillet on a free transfer this summer.

The 28-year-old has scored 18 goals in 36 games for Blackpool this season, but is set to leave Bloomfield Road this month.

And according to Alan Nixon of The Sun, Cardiff are “one of the contenders” in the race to sign Gnanduillet.
