Latest Championship projections see Bristol City set to miss out on top six as Leeds United win league

Leeds United are being backed to claim this season’s Championship title in the two latest supercomputer predictions to be released.

The Whites are being tipped to edge out West Brom in the race for the title, finishing on 95 points, three ahead of Slaven Bilic’s side.

Albion, according to the table released by Football Web Pages, will finish two points clear of Swansea, who will make up the play-off party along with Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford.

And at the bottom, Reading, Barnsley and Stoke are believed to be heading into League One, with the trio going down in that order from 22nd to 24th.

Not good news for Bristol City!

While in another alternative table released by InfolGol, the Whites are once again being backed to secure this year’s crown, with Albion also finishing runners-up to Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Preston North End, currently in second, are being tipped to miss out on the play-offs and end up in eighth, with Fulham, Brentford, Swansea and Cardiff expected to make up the top six.

InfolGol also have Barnsley finishing bottom, with Reading and Stoke joining them in League One, while Luton Town, Wigan Athletic and Middlesbrough all just about escape the drop.
