Latest Celtic transfer rumours: Second Mitchel Bakker bid planned, Charlton prospect scouted

Celtic have over four weeks left of the transfer window to strengthen their Ten in a Row bid.

The arrivals of David Turnbull, Shane Duffy, Vasilis Barkas and Albian Ajeti mean the Hoops won't be overly active in the market in the next month or so.

But Neil Lennon is still looking for a left-back to provide competition for Greg Taylor.

Below, we run you through all the latest rumours and gossip.

Second bid planned for Bakker

Celtic are planning a second bid for PSG's Mitchel Bakker despite having their initial offer rejected.

The Hoops reportedly tabled a loan deal for the Dutch left-back, but it was knocked back by the Ligue 1 side.

But the Daily Record claim Celtic will go back in for Bakker and have not given hope of bringing him to Parkhead.

Celtic scout Charlton prospect

Parkhead recruitment chief Nick Hammond has reportedly scouted Charlton youngster Alfie Doughty.

The Scottish Sun claim Celtic are ready to make a move for the 20-year-old, who is valued at £750,000.

Doughty impressed during Charlton's 3-1 win over Swindon on Saturday and Hammond was in attendance to take a closer look at the prospect.

Doughty was named Charlton's Young Player of the Season last term.
