Rangers assistant Michael Beale and Chelsea coach Anthony Barry have shot up the bookmakers' odds list to take over as Cardiff City manager.
The duo have disturbed the top end of the bookies' list, with Beale 14/1 for the job and Barry a notable 5/1 inclusion.
That makes him now third favourite for the gig behind Chris Wilder and former Newport County boss Michael Flynn.
Wednesday's shifts have been the most sizeable since odds were released on Saturday night following Mick McCarthy's departure as Bluebirds boss.
Beale, 41, is Steven Gerrard's assistant up at Ibrox, having worked with him during their time together at Liverpool before that.

Barry, 35, combines his role as Chelsea's first-team coach with coaching duties with the Republic of Ireland national team.
Just this week, Thomas Tuchel talked up Barry for his work as set-piece coach, stating: "I said after the Malmo game last week that it is a good sign when Andreas [Christensen] starts to score - and I think our set-piece coach, Anthony Barry, can be very, very proud!"
Elsewhere, many who have featured near the top of the list in recent days have drifted notably in the last 24 hours.
Former Bluebirds boss Neil Harris has dropped from 9/1 to a 16/1 shot, while current caretaker boss Steve Morison has slid from 10/1 to 16/1, too.

Roy Keane has dropped off noticeably, too, falling from 12/1 to 20/1, while Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton has gone from 14/1 to 20/1.
Wales boss Robert Page has slipped down, too, finding himself at 25/1 as opposed to 14/1 on Tuesday.
It is clear that there have been moves made in the market over the last day or so and now the make-up of the bookies' favourites makes for quite interesting reading.
