The number of coronavirus patients being care for in Bristol's hospitals has almost dropped to 200.
The latest figures show there are 215 people in our local hospitals who have tested positive for Covid-19, and 33 battling on ventilators.
This compares to 450 Covid inpatients being treated in Bristol hospitals during the peak of our last wave.
Today's (February 18) NHS data also show that a further two deaths have been confirmed in Bristol and its neighbouring areas.
One person died in Bristol after being diagnosed with the virus, and another in South Gloucestershire.
Bristol confirmed a further 83 new cases today. Our city's Covid rate per 100,000 people now stands at 160.6 - above the national average of 137.8.

South Gloucestershire reported the second-highest rise of 54. This district's Covid rate has dipped to 144.9.
North Somerset's confirmed 33 new infections today, its rate stands at 89.7.

UK figures
UK coronavirus deaths are up 454 - with a further 12,057 cases recorded.
This has brought the overall total number of cases since the pandemic first hit to 4,083,242.
And the overall total of deaths within 28 days of a positive test to 119,387.
