Latest Bristol City next manager odds: Steven Gerrard favourite as Thierry Henry enters running

Bristol City's search for a successor for Lee Johnson has continued and a new eye-catching name has entered the running in the latest bookmaker odds.

Rangers boss and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard remains the 5/4 favourite, ahead of Chris Hughton at 6/4, but it's further down the order where the interesting new name emerges.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who is now in charge of MLS side Montreal Impact, has been placed as the sixth favourite in the running at a price of 14/1 with SkyBet.

Interesting, the France World Cup winner does have some links with the Robins as he handed Han-Noah Massengo his debut at Monaco before he made the move to Ashton Gate.

The current top five in the running sees Gerrard and Hughton joined by Wigan Athletic boss Paul Cook, Plymouth Argyle's Ryan Lowe and Aston Villa coach John Terry.

While Gerrard remains the favourite, it has been reported that the former England international has 'no interest' in moving to join the Championship side.

Next Bristol City manager odds

Steven Gerrard - 5/4

Chris Hughton - 6/4

Paul Cook - 5/1

Ryan Lowe - 7/1

John Terry - 12/1

Thierry Henry - 14/1

Michael Flynn - 18/1
