There are now under two weeks left in the summer transfer window for Arsenal to do their business.
The Gunners have completed three signings, with William Saliba, Dani Ceballos and 18-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli all arriving at the Emirates Stadium, but could on the verge of a sensational swoop.
On the pitch, Arsenal have completed their pre-season tour of the United States of America, and now turn their attention to the Emirates Cup on Sunday ahead of the start of the Premier League season.
Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours involving the Gunners for players who could arrive - and leave.
Nicolas Pepe
football.london understands Arsenal are in advanced talks with Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe for €80m.
The fee will likely be paid by instalments to fit Arsenal’s budget.
Reports in France had claimed that the Gunners were one of four clubs to have agreed a fee for the Ivory Coast winger.
But Arsenal have seemingly stolen a march on their rivals and a move could be close.
Lille president Gerard Lopez provided an update Pepe’s future on Friday.
Lopez told Tuttosport : "Last year we asked Pepe to stay with the promise that we would sell in this transfer window. We received offers that satisfy us economically from four big clubs.
"[Napoli chairman Aurelio] De Laurentiis has satisfied our request for €80m. Now it is up to the player to decide where he wants to go.
"He must make that decision based on the offers that his agents have received from the four clubs.
"On Monday, Pepe will return from vacation and I believe that by the middle of the week he will have made a decision."
Kieran Tierney
football.london understands Arsenal are still hopeful of concluding a deal for Kieran Tierney.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon had suggested negotiations had failed following a spate of unsuccessful bids with the north Londoners attempting to spread out their payments for the Scot.
However, with less than two weeks left of the transfer window, discussions are ongoing and the Gunners have not given up hope on signing the left-back before the start of the season.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette
According to BBC Sport’s David Ornstein , Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be sold to fund the potential arrival of Nicolas Pepe.
The Gunners will instead structure the sizeable fee over several instalments.
