Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Unai Emery urges transfer chiefs to complete deal on Tuesday

There are now just three weeks left in the summer transfer window for Arsenal to do their business.

The Gunners have completed just one signing so far this summer, with 18-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli joining the club.

But while Arsenal may be out on their pre-season tour of the United States of America, but that does not stop the rumour mill from continuing.

Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours involving the Gunners for players who could arrive - and leave.

Laurent Koscielny

Bordeaux boss Paulo Sousa has discussed links to Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny.

Koscielny has been linked with a number of sides in Ligue 1, including Rennes. And Sousa told reporters (via GFFN) that they are trying to sign a defender of Koscielny’s quality.

"I have already said it, he is not our player. He is a player that every team would like to have because of his experience, the quality of his play and everything that he represents in football," he said.

"We are in the market for central defenders because Jules Kounde has left and so we are looking for another player to replace him.

"All talks are ongoing but once again he is not our player.

"We are working hard to give ourselves the chance to have a player with his characteristics."

Wilfried Zaha

Arsenal have reportedly increased their bid for Wilfried Zaha - but are still some way off Crystal Palace’s valuation of the 26-year-old.

Palace have set an £80m asking price for the Ivory Coast international, and according to the Independent, Arsenal made a bid of £55m with £10m dependent on clauses, as well as a loan move for Reiss Nelson.

A loan move for one of Arsenal’s young stars would appeal to Palace, with Bukayo Saka reportedly being another alternative. However, the Eagles have stated the bid is nowhere near enough for them to consider selling Zaha.

Apparently, Arsenal will need to increase the amount of money guaranteed in the deal and add another player on loan or permanently, with Carl Jenkinson rumoured to be a possibility.

With just two-and-a-half weeks remaining of the transfer window, Arsenal face a race against time to get a deal done.

Dani Ceballos

Unai Emery has reportedly told Arsenal chiefs to use this week’s friendly against Real Madrid to close a deal for Dani Ceballos.

The midfielder is available on loan this summer and has offers from both the Gunners and rivals Spurs. Real are said to have no preference over which of the north London sides Ceballos joins.

ABC Sevilla state that Emery has asked Arsenal chiefs to “take the reigns” and finally close a transfer with Florentino Perez when they meet the Spanish side on Tuesday night.

The deal will see Ceballos join on a one-year loan with no option to buy, and the Gunners will be paying his salary in full.
