Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Swap deal plan, Sanllehi makes transfer enquiry, Dembele race

Here are your Arsenal transfer rumours for Monday, April 20.

Gunners look to offload Lacazette

Arsenal are interested in a deal to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and could be prepared to offer Alexandre Lacazette in a potential swap.

Partey has been a key figure for Atletico this season, featuring 24 times in La Liga for the side, and has caught the attention of numerous clubs around Europe.

According to The Sun, Mikel Arteta has labelled the 26-year-old as his number one target as he looks to add a defensive midfielder to the Gunners’ squad this summer.

Lacazette could be part of a deal to sign the Ghanaian midfielder, as the Gunners hierarchy are unable to offer Arteta unlimited funds at the end of the season.

The French striker has scored seven goals in 20 Premier League appearances for Arsenal during the 2019/20 season.

Gunners eye Rodrigo deal

Arsenal have enquired about the availability of Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno ahead of the summer transfer window.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of contract next summer, there are growing fears within the club that the Gabon striker will look to move elsewhere.

Lacazette also faces an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium, meaning the Gunners could look around Europe for new additions.

According to a report in the Mirror, Arteta has identified Valencia forward Rodrigo as a target and the Spanish club’s owner Peter Lim is willing to let the 29-year-old leave the club.

Rodrigo has a £110m release clause in his current deal with Valencia, but the same report suggests that Valencia could let him leave for half that amount.

The Spain international has scored five goals for Valencia and provided 11 assists this season.

Arsenal in race with United for Dembele

Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

Dembele has suffered with frequent muscular injuries since joining Barcelona in 2017 from Borussia Dortmund.

The report suggests that Barca are more than willing to offload the French winger in the summer and Arsenal and United are both keen on him.

However, before any interest turns to negotiations, the Premier League duo will examine just why he has struggled so much with injuries in recent seasons.

At the moment, Dembele is due back in July after suffering a hamstring injury recently, but the pause in the season means he will be allowed an extensive recovery period.
