Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Shock stance on £60m Wilfried Zaha deal, two year Khedira deal

There is exactly one week left in the summer transfer window for Arsenal to do their business.

The Gunners have completed three signings, with William Saliba, Dani Ceballos and 18-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli all arriving at the Emirates Stadium, but the north Londoners could be on the verge of a sensational swoop for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

On the pitch, Arsenal have completed their pre-season tour of the United States of America, and were beaten by Lyon in Emirates Cup on Sunday.

They drew 1-1 with Angers on Wednesday, before winning on penalties as they stepped up their preparations for the start of the Premier League season.

Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours involving the Gunners for players who could arrive - and leave.

Wilfried Zaha

According to iNews, Arsenal are not giving up hope of signing Wilfried Zaha - despite the imminent announcement of Nicolas Pepe.

The Lille winger is joining for a club record fee of £72m, but the Gunners are reportedly ready to sign Zaha if a deal which makes financial sense can be struck.

The report claims the Eagles winger is still keen on a move to Arsenal as he wants to stay in London.

Everton have had a £55m offer rejected this week, with Zaha reportedly valued at around £60m.

Sami Khedira

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira will be required to take a pay-cut in order to seal a move to Arsenal, according to reports in Italy.

According to La Gazetta dello Sport (via Sportsmole), the Premier League club have offered Khedira a two-year contract to make the switch to north London.

However, the Italian publication reports that the midfielder would be forced to reduce his current wages to complete the move, with Arsenal only prepared to offer a contract worth £70,000-a-week.

It is claimed that would see Khedira earn around £30,000-a-week short of his existing salary at Juventus.

The German midfielder intensified suggestions he could join Arsenal after he was spotted at the Emirates Stadium during Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Lyon.

Kieran Tierney

Kieran Tierney is reportedly edging closer to sealing a move to Arsenal after they restructured their £25m offer for the Celtic full-back.

The Gunners back line has been in desperate need of reinforcements and boss Unai Emery identified Tierney as the solution to their defensive frailties.

Earlier reports suggested that Arsenal have seen two bids for the left-back rejected, and were locked in negotiations with the Scottish champions.

It is rumoured that Celtic were not happy with the package Arsenal were offering, which proposed paying the transfer fee in installments and add-ons to satisfy their restricted transfer budget.

But according to the  Scottish Daily Mail , the Gunners agreed to meet Celtic’s desired payment structure and the deal should be finalised before the Scottish champions’ Champions League qualification return leg in Romania next Tuesday.

Moise Kean

According to the  Daily Mail , Arsenal contracted Moise Kean’s agent Mino Raiola over the phone on a bid to convince him to change his mind.

Everton have reportedly agreed a £36million deal with Juventus for the striker on Monday and the 19-year-old is set to sign a contract before the end of the week.

But the player is said to have not been keen on an Arsenal move as they cannot guarantee him first-team football ahead of the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
