Arsenal have endured a rough 2019/20 Premier League campaign and recruitment is needed.
That opportunity will come straight after the close of play this season on Sunday, with the transfer window opening the next day on July 27.
Whilst the coronavirus pandemic will likely mean clubs are less willing to spend cash, the short gap between the current campaign and next term will make for a condensed and far more interesting transfer period.
The rumour mill is already going into overdrive ahead of the transfer window opening and here is the latest gossip on Arsenal.
Arsenal eyeing potential Aubameyang replacement
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is lining up a shock move for Wolves star Raul Jimenez.
The striker has netted 17 Premier League goals for Wolves since his £32.6 million pound from Benfica last summer.
The 29-year-old has been linked with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus in recent months.
Now Arsenal are monitoring the Mexican as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if the Gabon international, who is due to be offered new deal, leaves the Emirates this summer, per Le10Sport.
Ex-Gunner Ramsey offered to Chelsea
Chelsea have been offered former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey in a potential swap deal.
Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is eager to sign Jorginho for the third time and Ramsey has been offered in a swap deal option.
That's according to Tutto Mercato Web, who also claim that Chelsea are open to selling the 28-year-old.
However, it's believed the offer was knocked back, with Chelsea only wanting straight up cash for Jorginho.
Arsenal bid for wonderkid
Arsenal have made an approach for Sporting CP's Joelson Fernandes.
The Gunners' bid is believed to be in the region of £13 million, according to Mirror Football.
But Sporting could still demand the 17-year-old forward's £41m release clause.
