Arsenal are just a day away from returning after more than three months away with their first Premier League game back set for Wednesday evening.
The Gunners will be desperate to improve on their efforts so far when they do restart, but boss Mikel Arteta knows he must also begin preparations for next season, when Arsenal will be hoping to make a much better go at it.
The coronavirus shutdown has given clubs plenty of time to identify potential transfer targets for what could be an intriguing summer transfer window at the Emirates Stadium and beyond.
And with that in mind, here we have the latest transfer gossip surrounding the Gunners.
Ceballos could extend stay
Dani Ceballos could join Arsenal on loan for a second season this summer.
The midfielder has been on loan with Arsenal this season after struggling to hold down a regular spot in Real Madrid’s side.
The Gunners are believed to be keen to keep the 23-year-old even if it is for another season.

And Spanish newspaper AS is claiming that a second loan spell could suit both clubs and that an agreement could be struck between in the coming weeks.
Kamara boost
Arsenal target Boubacar Kamara could be pushed towards the exit door by Marseille with the club needing to raise funds.
That is according to Le 10 Sport, who claim the French side must find almost €60million to stay in line with financial fair play.
While Foot Mercato are reporting that that the Gunners are eyeing a move for Kamara, as Mikel Arteta aims to strengthen his defensive options.

The report goes on to add that the Gunners would be willing to pay £28million for the defender.
Battle for Lille star
Arsenal are one of three Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Lille midfielder Joel Ngoya, according to France Football.
The 18-year-old is also attracting interest from Manchester United and Everton.
Ngoya has been a standout performer in Lille’s youth team this season but is yet to sign his first professional contract at Les Dogues.
As well as significant interest from the Premier League, Ngoya is wanted by Nice, Bordeaux, Lyon and Rennes in France, while Hoffenheim are also said to be keen.
