Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Pablo Mari deal agreed, Dani Ceballos latest, Martinez wanted

Arsenal's hopes of qualifying for Europe have suffered two blows with successive defeats on their return to the Premier League.

A lack of European football may well mean the Gunners struggle to attract their transfer targets for next season.

Nevertheless, the Gunners continue to make plans for next season and identify players to target when the transfer window reopens.

With that in mind, here are all the very latest Arsenal transfer rumours.

Mari permanent deal

David Luiz: Is his reputation as error-prone unfair?

Arsenal are said to have agreed a £14million deal to turn Pablo Mari's loan into a permanent move to the Emirates.

The defender injured his left ankle in Arsenal's defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday and is now set to be out of action until November.

Yet that has not stopped them deciding to sign the Spaniard on a permanent deal from Brazilian side Flamengo.

The Daily Mail report that the final details of the 26-year-old centre-back's move were agreed this week.

Ceballos future depends on Zidane

Marca report that, whilst Dani Ceballos will stay at Arsenal until the end of the season after his loan from Real Madrid was extended, his long-term future remains unclear.

The midfielder's future rests on whether Zinedine Zidane is still in charge at Los Blancos next season.

Ceballos is keen to play and be an important part of a side, which he knows is unlikely to happen under Zidane.

A number of clubs, including Valencia, are monitoring the 23-year-old, with Real Madrid confident of finding a buyer if need be.

Leeds show interest in keeper

The Athletic claim Leeds United are interested in Arsenal keeper Emiliano Martinez.

Leeds sit top of the Championship and are heavy favourites to secure promotion to the Premier League.

Kiko Casilla has been the Whites' preferred option between the sticks this season but he has looked shaky at times.

Martinez is one of the lowest earners at the Gunners, meaning Leeds could well afford his wages and make him number one.
