Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Offer made for PSG star and surprise Lingard development

The latest Arsenal transfer gossip round-up on Sunday, April 5.

Arsenal make Kurzawa offer

Arsenal have made an offer for PSG’s Layvin Kurzawa who has also been targeted by Barcelona, according to reports.

Mikel Arteta’s side were reportedly close to signing the Frenchman in the January transfer window, but now look to be well-placed to finally land their man.

The left-back has been at the French champions for a number of years but has lost a guaranteed place in the starting XI to Juan Bernat.

The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer and will be available on a free transfer come June 30.

A whole host of other clubs including Liverpool have also been linked with the defender but Arsenal are reportedly the only club to have made an offer.

Lingard linked

Arsenal’s search for a creative midfielder could be set for another setback with the club said to be unwilling to splash £40million on Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos.

According to reports, Arteta could be set for a surprise switch to target Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard this summer. It is believed that the two clubs have a good relationship in terms of transfers with frequent activity over the last few years.

The potential of signing Lingard is largely dependent on Ceballos' future in north London, but such rumours suggest that Arteta is already looking elsewhere.

Gunners register Fraser link

Liverpool target Ryan Fraser is reportedly on the radar of Arsenal, who are looking to hijack Jurgen Klopp’s ‘advanced talks’ with the Bournemouth winger.

With just three months left on his current deal at Bournemouth, Fraser is currently weighing up his options and has a host of high profile clubs interested in him.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are growing in confidence that they can secure the services of Fraser who would most certainly add creative output to the Gunners’ attack.
