Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Man United join Gunners on scouting trip as Leicester eye star

The Premier League season is over and attention is already turning to the summer transfer window.

That is despite the fact that there is still the FA Cup final this weekend, and two major European finals to come as Arsenal face Chelsea in the Europa League before Liverpool meet Spurs in the Champions League final in Madrid.

And there are plenty of rumours when it comes to Arsenal, regarding possible incomings and potential outgoings this summer.

Below, we take a look at the latest rumours involving the Gunners.

Moussa Dembele

Manchester United and Arsenal both reportedly sent scouts to watch Lyon striker Moussa Dembele in their 3-0 win over Marseille.

The 22-year-old has been in Ligue 1 for a year after leaving Celtic and despite starting on the bench, came on with 15 minutes to go to score his side’s second of the game.

It was Dembele’s 14th goal of the season, and according to  Mercato 365 , Man United and Arsenal both had scouts in attendance to keep an eye on Dembele.

United in particular have asked for feedback on Dembele’s character, as well as his on-field attributes, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was apparently happy with what he heard.

Alexandre Lacazette

Barcelona have reportedly made contact with Alexandre Lacazette’s representatives to let them know of their interest in taking him to Camp Nou.

According to  Le10 Sport , the Catalan club have not yet sent a concrete offer for the striker, who is seen as a potential alternative to Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann announced that he will be leaving Atletico Madrid, and is expected to make the move to Barcelona this summer. However, his wage demands apparently pose a problem for Barca, and if a deal was to become too expensive for the Spanish champions, they could look to sign Lacazette.

Barcelona are reportedly impressed by Lacazette’s versatility in the attacking line, and also his efficiency in front of goal.

Christopher Nkunku

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window.

A move failed to materialise, but the Gunners could revive their interest this summer.

That's according to David Ornstein, who told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport that the Gunners have identified a box-to-box midfielder as a priority in the summer, with Aaron Ramsey departing to join Juventus.

Ornstein also said that Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants a new centre-back this summer, with Getafe star Djene Dakonam also being named as a potential target by several national newspapers in recent days, including the Daily Mail.

Ismaila Sarr

Leicester City have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Rennes forward Ismaila Sarr this summer.

That's according to the Mail Online, who are reporting that the Foxes have expressed a firm interest in signing the 21-year-old.

Sarr has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal this season, and scored against the Gunners when they faced Rennes in the Europa League back in March.

According to the report, Rennes are likely to want around £25m for the winger, who has scored 12 goals for the Ligue 1 side this season.

But Sarr is not short of potential suitors, with Liverpool, Roma and AC Milan also being linked with a move for the Senegalese star.
