Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Lacazette makes Inter Milan decision, David Luiz pay-cut for move

No decision has yet been made as to how this summer’s transfer window will pan out, but there’s no shortage of rumours at the moment.

With the Premier League set for a return next month, Arsenal and their rivals are set to be back in action when the window opens.

There has been talk of an extended window in order to give clubs the chance to do their business, and there could be plenty for the Gunners to get sorted.

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming out of the Emirates Stadium…

Football is back – but how will it work?

Lacazette makes Inter Milan decision

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is not interested in an exit from Arsenal to join Inter Milan when the transfer window opens, L'Equipe via the Mail reports.

The French striker is set to enter the final two years of his contract in North London, which puts the Gunners in a difficult position as they look to ensure they don't lose his services for a cut-price fee.

A host of clubs have been linked with his signature, including Atletico Madrid and Inter, but it's now been stated that the latter club is not of interest to him.

The Serie A side were reportedly keen on landing Lacazette as a replacement for Barcelona target Lautaro Martinez but now seemingly need to reassess their options.

Luiz needs pay-cut for Benfica move

Arsenal defender David Luiz will have to take a significant pay-cut of £38,000-a-week if he is to secure a dream move back to Benfica, the Mirror states.

The Brazil international's future at the Emirates Stadium is unclear, with Arsenal yet to make a move to extend the one-year deal he penned upon his £8m arrival from Chelsea last summer.

Mikel Arteta's side possess an option to activate a one-year extension to his deal but, should he leave, Luiz has made no secret of his desire to return to Benfica to finish his career.

However, the Portuguese side have a salary cap of £32k-a-week and he will need to see his wages cut by over a half of their current amount before he can join the club.

Bournemouth make push to keep Fraser

Bournemouth are pushing for Ryan Fraser to extend his contract until the end of the rearranged 2019/20 season, with the Scotland international set to become a free-agent.

Fraser has been linked with a host of clubs ahead of his availability, including Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Watford and Crystal Palace.

However, relegation-threatened Bournemouth are determined to keep Fraser until the end of the 2019/20 Premier League season and want to agree a short-term extension to his deal, the Mail reports.

Fraser's current deal is due to expire on June 30, which would mean he would only be available for two matches after the restart if he doesn't put pen to paper.
