Chelsea hijack Kurzawa deal

Chelsea are looking to beat Arsenal to the signing of French defender Layvin Kurzawa, according to the Express.

Ajax, Everton, Inter Milan and Porto are also reported to be interested in securing David’s services.

Partey’s father delivers transfer blow

The father of Thomas Partey appears to have delivered a blow to the Gunners’ hopes of signing the Atletico Madrid midfielder.

Jacob Partey had previously suggested his son’s future was in North London, but now appears to have backtracked on those comments, bringing the likes of Juventus and PSG into play.

“My son's current club, Atlético de Madrid, has a termination clause for him. This means that any club that shows interest in signing him must comply with those demands,” Jacob Partey told SilverFM.

“Then, any team that meets Atlético's demand will be able to sign my son, and not specifically Arsenal.”
