Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Icardi offer, Lewis deal close, Bonaventura update

The Premier League continues to plan for a potential return to continue the 2019/20 season and that means we could yet see Arsenal back in action next month.

It's been almost two months since the Gunners were last in action and there's plenty of interest around how Mikel Arteta's side will finish the season.

But that has not stopped reports claiming they are looking ahead and planning their summer transfer business.

With that in mind, here are the latest transfer rumours from the Emirates.

James Benge on Aubameyang's transfer fee, Thomas Partey and Saka's future

Icardi opportunity

Arsenal could be given the chance to sign Mauro Icardi as a direct replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

That is according to Tuttosport - via Calciomercato - who claims that Inter would offer Icardi to Arsenal only if they could get Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in return.

Icardi is currently on loan at PSG after a falling out with the hierarchy at Inter Milan, and looks set to depart the San Siro this summer.

While Aubameyang has been continually linked with a move from the Emirates for a number of months now..

The forward is set to enter the final year of his deal at the Gunners this summer and has been linked with Manchester United and Barcelona.

Lewis deal close

Arsenal look set to finalise a move for Norwegian winger George Lewis.

The winger is believed to have impressed on a two-week trial at the club and Goal report that the Gunners are now in advanced talks over a move.

Should the deal be completed, then Lewis would join up with Steve Bould’s Under-23s where he’ll compete for a place in Arteta’s first team set-up.

The report from Goal adds that there is likely to be no problem in the deal completed.

Torino to win Bonaventura hunt

Giacomo Bonaventura looks set to depart AC Milan this summer.

Bonaventura has scored 35 goals and made 171 appearances for AC and has been linked with a switch to Arsenal in the upcoming window.

But according to a report from Tuttomercato, Bonaventura is leaning towards Torino as his next destination.
