Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Gunners rival Tottenham for wonderkid and defender price set

Here are the Arsenal transfer rumours for Friday, April 10.

Arsenal target’s ‘dream’ could hand Arteta transfer advantage

The Gunners may have an unexpected edge in their pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso.

With the Gunners keen on bringing the unsettled Frenchman to the Emirates, they will reportedly face competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United for the player’s signature.

However, according to previous comments from Tolisso himself, Mikel Arteta’s side are a team he has long harboured ambitions of playing for.

Will Arsenal overhaul their defence?

Speaking to France Football back in 2017, the player said: "Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal.

"I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it. It is the league that offers the most competition, it is the most open, the most hard-fought and the most spectacular."

Arsenal to rival Spurs for wonderkid

Arsenal are reportedly among a number of major European clubs keeping tabs on French wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga.

According to Spanish publication AS via Sport Witness , the Gunners ‘want’ the 17-year-old Rennes sensation and are prepared to try and get the jump on rivals Spurs who are also looking at the player.

However, both clubs could be left disappointed, with Real Madrid said to also be interested, and likely to make a move should they fail to land Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Championship side set price for Arsenal defensive target

Arsenal have been set a price of £20million by Swansea City, if they are going to attempt to sign defender Joe Rodon.

The Wales international, who has impressed at the Swans this season, has caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs including Mikel Arteta’s side.

According to Wales Online , the 6’4” defender already looks ‘too good’ for the second tier and with Swansea looking to raise funds, the club are intent on getting a handsome sum for their prized asset.

With both Manchester clubs also said to be keen on the 22-year-old, the Welsh side are well aware they will not need to settle for a reduced fee for Rodon.
