Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Gunners make Enis Bardhi bid, Justin Kluivert latest

Arsenal's Champions League hopes have faded after a poor restart to the Premier League season.

The Gunners sit 11 points off fourth place with just seven games to go, meaning they would realistically have to win every remaining match in order to stand a chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

How much of an impact that will have on the Gunners' transfer plans for next season remains to be seen.

Yet, with that in mind, here are the latest rumours from the Emirates Stadium.

Formal Bardhi offer submitted

Spanish radio show Onda Deportiva claims that Arsenal have lodged a bid for Levante star Enis Bardhi.

The 24-year-old has impressed in La Liga recently and has been linked with a summer move to the Gunners, possibly as a replacement for Mesut Ozil, who has fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta.

Bardhi plays as a number 10 and has also attracted interest from the Bundesliga and Italian side Fiorentina.

Since moving to Levante in 2017, the Macedonian has scored 16 goals and registered seven assists in 88 La Liga matches.

He has also become known as a free-kick specialist.

Kluivert distracted

Justin Kluivert has reportedly become distracted by speculation over his future.

The Roma striker has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal, potentially as part of a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Roma are keen to make a profit on the player, who they signed from Ajax in 2018 and a difference in valuations between Kluivert and Mkhitaryan means negotiations have hit a wall.

Gazzetta dello Sport now claim that Kluivert has become distracted by the transfer links, with the report pointing to the fact he was the first player substituted in Roma's 2-0 loss to AC Milan recently.

Roma have put pressure on manager Paulo Fonesca to improve the player's performances and maximise his potential fee.

Gunners ready offer for 17-year-old

Portuguese outlet Record report that Arsenal have readied an offer for 17-year-old Sporting starlet Joelson Fernandes.

Sporting are said to have begun negotiating over a new contract for the teenager and are keen to raise his release clause from €45m to €100m.

Yet his father Eusebio and agent Kia Joorabchian are both against that, due to interest from the Gunners, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

The report claims that Arsenal are ready to make an offer for the winger.
