Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Gunners make contact for €80m man, star highlights Gunners move

The season still isn't quite over with the Europa League final still to play but the transfer bandwagon is certainly rolling.

With most domestic competitions coming to an end now we do have more players and directors starting to comments on potential comings and goings which certainly adds to the transfer fire.

Arsenal are being touted to make a number of signings, even a number of wingers are being closely linked with a move to the Emirates.

Take a look at the latest updates below:

Neto transfer news

Reports suggest that Arsenal have made their first contact with Valencia goalkeeper Norberto Murara also known as Neto.

It doesn’t sound like their attempt was too successful and the stopper was reportedly left unimpressed with the package on offer. Neto has a contract that run until 2021 with a release clause of €80m but Valencia have to raise €42m by June 30th through player sales according to the report.

The keeper is thought to be content at the Mestalla but Unai Emery is an admirer and if Arsenal win the Europa League final they well be able to offer the Brazilian Champions League football, which could change the tone of discussions.

Leandro Trossard transfer news

As football.london  revealed in February,  the Gunners have a long-standing interest in Leandro Trossard and first made contact with his representatives in November.

The Belgian wide forward remains an option that is under consideration as Arsenal target reinforcements on the flanks, though Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser and Ajax’s David Neres are believed to be ahead of Trossard on the Gunners’ wishlist.

Het Belang van LimburgHet Belang van Limburg -  via Sport Witness  - report the latest on a potential move for Trossard.

The 24-year-old said: "I will not leave Genk for any team. Everything must feel good, also for my family. Because this will be an important step in my career.

Arsenal chief reveals how much Stan Kroenke will invest in the club as the transfer window opens

The midfielder is willing to fight for his place in any team, even if there are some concerns about playing time.

"I take that into account, but not too much either," he added. "I want to compete and fight for my place. Wherever. Accepting a challenge is always the best."

Yannick Carrasco transfer news

Arsenal may have just been put on high alert, as reported transfer target Yannick Carrasco has admitted that a summer move to the Premier League could be on the cards.

Unai Emery was keen to bring the winger in at the Emirates during the January transfer window, but finances meant that the move never materialised.

Carrasco plays his football in the Chinese Super League for Dalian Yifang, who blocked the January move, but in quotes reported by  the Sun , the Belgian has admitted that it may be a different story in the upcoming transfer window.

What Unai Emery would always mention to Raul Sanllehi when discussing Arsenal's key objectives

He noted there was interest from Arsenal and a summer move was possible.

"There was interest from Arsenal and I had a lot of teams in January giving me the chance to go back to Europe, but here the president said it was difficult to go then," he said. "Maybe this summer it is possible. If it is a good thing and I want to go, maybe I can speak with the president.

It isn't the first time that the Belgium international has spoken of his desire to return to Europe.

"I try to do my best because I am a professional for my team, after we can think about a solution. If I have a lot of teams who want me but the president decides I have to stay, I cannot do anything."
