Arsenal are on the brink of starting their first full season under Mikel Arteta, as the Gunners kick off their campaign in the Community Shield against Liverpool next weekend.
Mikel Arteta's side also learnt their path for the Premier League campaign on Thursday with the fixture release, with back-to-back London derbies against Fulham and West Ham to begin the campaign.
That is followed by a tricky run that lasts until the end of October, which has increased the need for further additions in the transfer market.
A host of players continue to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium and we have gathered some of the latest snippets below.
Gabriel deal on Monday
Arsenal are finally set to complete a deal for Gabriel Magalhaes, as Goal report that a deal has now been wrapped up and the Brazilian could be announced as early as Monday.
The Gunners have been locked in talks with the 22-year-old defender having agreed a fee, believed to be around £25 million ($33m), with Lille last week.
A transfer has been delayed while the Brazilian makes a final decision on his future, with Napoli also agreeing a fee with the Ligue 1 side.

Everton and Manchester United have also been attributed with holding an interest in the highly-rated Ligue 1 defender.
Arteta's fire sale
Arsenal will look to offload 'up to 15 players' after completing a deal for Gabriel as, in order to balance the books, the Daily Express are reporting that Arteta will need to offload as many as 15 squad players.
Fellow defenders Rob Holding and Calum Chambers could also be sold, with newly-promoted Fulham interested in both players.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira could also leave, with Wolves among the clubs interested in Maitland-Niles.

Guendouzi has reportedly been offered to Lyon in a part-exchange deal for Houssem Aouar, while Torreira has repeatedly been linked with a return to Italy.
Milan eye Ceballos
AC Milan are set to make a loan bid for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to The Telegraph
The Gunners are keen to bring the Spaniard back to the Emirates after a successful spell with the club last term but negotiations have stalled after the sudden departure of Raul Sanllehi, with Milan not trying to take advantage and swoop in.
Ceballos has spoken about his desire to break into the Madrid first-team but is thought to be open to another loan move.
