Mikel Arteta is attempting to improve his Arsenal squad this summer ahead of next season and that has led to speculation aplenty.
The rumour mill is heating up and that makes for plenty of interest for Arsenal fans, who are eager to see their side finish above a disappointing eighth during the 2019/20 campaign.
Here are the latest transfer rumours on Arsenal as we edge closer to the upcoming campaign next month.
Arsenal's Partey plan
Arsenal could plan a fire sale of players in order to raise funds for the transfer of Thomas Partey, according to reports.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with the Ghanaian thought to be one of Mikel Arteta’s top priorities.
Sky Sports report Arsenal are looking at the potential sales of Matteo Guendouzi, Alexandre Lacazette, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mohamed Elneny, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac as ways of generating some funds.
Willian praise for Martinelli
Arsenal signing Willian has hailed compatriot and new club team-mate Gabriel Martinelli.
It's safe to say fans will love these comments below on the 19-year-old.
"He has a great future I think," Willian told the club's website. "He can be one of the best players in the Premier League, no doubt.
"It's because of his quality and also without the ball you can see that he is always trying to help his team and do the job without the ball.
"So I think he can be one of the best players. I think when he starts to play again, I know he is injured now, but when he starts again, it's about time for him to go to the Brazilian national team."
Gabriel to Arsenal deal imminent
Napoli might say they're still committed to signing Gabriel Magalhaes, but it appears the race is already run.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Arsenal have beaten the Italian side, and Manchester United, to the Lille defender.
They say the Gunners have agreed a deal with Lille, meaning Gabriel will be on board for the 2020/21 season.
