Arsenal’s Premier League campaign is currently on hold for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The pandemic has brought the country to a standstill, with top-flight football now suspended until April 30 at the earliest.
And with no on-field action now able to take centre stage, it is most likely that transfer talk will dominate the headlines in the coming weeks and months.
With that in mind, here is a round-up of the latest transfer rumours involving the Gunners.
Gunners interested in Edouard
Arsenal have been closely monitoring the progress of Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard as they mull the future of Alexandre Lacazette before the upcoming transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been in exceptional form for the Scottish champions this season, scoring 27 goals and providing 19 assists in 45 appearances and football.london understands that the Gunners have extensively scouted him over the course of the campaign.
But the report also states that the forward is unlikely to come cheap and Mikel Arteta's side are not the only ones taking a keen interest in the Frenchman's exploits north of the border.
Miki talks
Roma have already been in touch with Arsenal over securing the permanent services of Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.
Mkhitaryan moved to the Italian side last summer on a season-long loan deal after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates.
The Serie A side are only prepared, according to Corriere dello Sport, to go to a maximum of €20m, but have started their end of the talks with an offer of €15m + €2m in bonuses.
Bidding war for Gunners target
French media outlet L'Equipe are reporting that one Italian and two English sides have already submitted formal offers for Lille central defender Gabriel.
Everton are one of those three clubs, according to the report, with the offers that Les Dogues have received being worth between €27m and €32m excluding bonuses.
Under contract until 2023, the player will turn 23 next December, and has also been continually linked with a move to the Gunners.
