Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Dani Ceballos to sign, Lucas Torreira fee, Rob Holding delay

Arsenal endured a rough 2019/20 campaign overall but have started to make some positive moves ahead of the new season.

Willian was signed to add spark going forward and William Saliba has finally arrived permanently after the Gunners' acquisition of the defender last summer.

Gabriel Magalhaes has made the switch to the Emirates this summer and Dani Ceballos is closing in on a return on loan from Real Madrid.

But there are more outgoings and incomings likely to come before the window slams shut next month. In light of this, here is the latest rumours round-up on Arsenal.

Arsenal's next move after Gabriel

Ceballos to sign

Arsenal are set to complete the re-signing of Dani Ceballos on another season-long loan deal today, according to reports in Spain.

The 24-year-old spent the 2019/20 campaign at the Emirates on loan from Real Madrid, helping fire Mikel Arteta’s side to their FA Cup triumph.

However, the playmaker has been allowed to return to the Gunners on another season-long loan and according to ABC, he jetted into London on Wednesday to complete his medical.

The report states that he will sign the contract today to keep him at Arsenal until next summer.

Torreira fee

Arsenal want £27.5m for Lucas Torreira amid interest from Fiorentina.

The Gunners midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Emirates as Mikel Arteta looks to bring in Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar.

Reports suggest Fiorentina want to sign Torreira on an initial loan deal with a purchase option.

Arsenal, though, are looking for a permanent sale for around £27.5m.

Holding delay

Arsenal's hopes of striking a deal for Rob Holding may have to wait.

Chronicle Live understands that a loan deal for Holding has not progressed in the early part of the week and may not go through until Newcastle's squad is trimmed down.

Fabian Schar and Florian Lejeune are too players that could depart to make room for Holding's arrival.
