Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Carrasco decision, PSG star hands Man Utd and Arsenal blow

With the club season well and truly over, Arsenal are now looking ahead to next campaign.

While the Gunners delivered initial improvement under Unai Emery, including a 22-game unbeaten run, recording more points and reaching a European final, the north Londoners again missed out on their ultimate goal of Champions League qualification.

Arsenal have already confirmed the departures of Danny Welbeck, Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey and Stephan Lichtsteiner; and the squad is set for an overhaul this summer, so who will arrive at the Emirates to replace them? Here's a look at the latest Arsenal transfer rumours:

Yannick Carrasco

Arsenal are stalling on a deal to bring Yannick Carrasco to the club in the hope that they can tempt Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser to the Emirates instead.

Carrasco was first sought out by the club in January but his current team, Dalian Yifang of China, were not willing to let him go at that stage of the season.

The 25-year-old is keen on a move back to Europe, however, and it is thought the Gunners could prise him away with a £25m bid.

He said: "Everyone knows I want to return to Europe. Now it depends on my president and I hope a solution is found.

"I can’t speak about [the interested] club, but I hope that everything can be sorted. ‘I’m not the one who decides. That’s my president. He will decide if he lets me leave or not, but I hope I can return."

Ryan Fraser

Ryan Fraser has disappointed Arsenal fans by appearing to suggest he will stay at Bournemouth for at least one more season.

The 25-year-old winger had an impressive season with the Cherries, scoring seven goals and creating 14 assists in 38 Premier League appearances, and speculation was rife that Gunners manager Unai Emery could be interested in making a move for the player.

But the Scotland international, who is valued at around £30m by his club, doesn't look like he will be on his way any time soon after suggesting his immediate future is at Bournemouth.

Fraser said: "The likelihood is I will be at Bournemouth for another year.

"And what will happen, will happen. That is all I can really say about it.

"No one has really spoken to me about it."

Adrien Rabiot

Adrien Rabiot has revealed that he is in talks with Juventus amid transfer links with Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder was frozen out in France last season after he declared his desire to leave.

Several Premier League sides have been linked with his services but Rabiot’s revelation that he is in advanced talks with Juventus offers a potential transfer blow to admirers.
