Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Aubameyang rejects new contract, Mino Raiola intervention

It has been a woeful return to Premier League action for Arsenal.

The Gunners have suffered back-to-back defeats away at Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion following a three-month break from football.

That has forced some supporters to look forward and speculate about what changes the club have planned.

And with that in mind, here are the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.

Mikel Arteta: "It's unacceptable."

Aubameyang 'rejects' new deal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly rejected Arsenal’s offer of a new contract and is “fascinated” by the prospect of joining Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.

Aubameyang has one year left on his deal at the Emirates and talks over a new deal have appeared to stall.

And now FCInterNews claims the striker has rejected the proposal from the north London side, which would have offered him the same terms amid Mikel Arteta’s plans to rebuild his side.

The report claims that Arsenal‘s project has not convinced Aubameyang, who wants to compete at the highest level.

Mings interest

Arsenal are understood to be big admirers of Tyrone Mings, but there are doubts as to whether they could afford the kind of fee Aston Villa would be looking for.

That's the view of The Athletic's David Ornstein, who has suggested a number of 'big Premier League clubs' could make a move at the end of the season.

Mings only signed permanently for Villa last summer, with Dean Smith splashing out a fee in the region of £20m to land the 27-year-old.

And according to Ornstein, there is an interest in Mings, but whether that translates into a bid remains to be seen.

Raiola demand in swap deal

Mino Raiola has reportedly demanded that Arsenal lower their valuation of Roma loanee Henrikh Mkhitaryan by just over £1.8million.

Arsenal sent Mkhitaryan on loan to Roma last summer and he is keen to remain with the Serie A side.

And Calciomercato claims Raiola believes Arsenal lowering their demands for Mkhitaryan by £1.8million will lead to both sides reaching a deal.

The report adds that Roma, who posted over €200million in debt in May, are keen to balance the books.
